Tigger Huisinga

This will be Tigger’s (she/they) second year playing kickball with the HIGKL and she’s so excited to be getting more involved with her first gay sport. She has a background in social services and nonprofit work, and is hoping to bring her years of experience in fundraising to bolster the league’s presence across the islands and solidify it as a longstanding pillar of the queer community. Some of her passion projects on island have involved sex education, queer empowerment, and hosting community events, and she’s looking forward to bringing these skills to the table to throw more celebratory queer-inclusive events throughout the year.
